Timothy is a computer science undergraduate student in machine learning and he is considering a math minor/double major, having studied ordinary differential equations in his freshman year. He wants to apply his computational and mathematical skills to modeling phage-bacteria dynamics, a field he considers a new frontier in medical science, especially crucial as more and more bacteria evolve to be resistant to multiple types of antibiotics. He is currently working under the mentorship of Raunak Dey on developing a graphical application that simplifies the process of fitting models to real datasets.
In his free time, Timothy likes to work with different programming languages and new tools that he finds.
