We’re excited to share that Akash Arani, a graduate student in biology in the group, has been accepted to the Santa Fe Institute Complex Systems Summer School. This highly competitive program, which accepts only 40 applicants each year, brings together students and researchers from around the world to explore the principles of complex systems science through lectures, workshops, and seminars with leading scientists.
Over the four-week program this June, Akash will transcend disciplinary boundaries by delving into complexity across mathematical, physical, living, and social systems with like-minded peers driven by big questions in complexity science.
Well done, Akash!
