This summer, King will begin a virtual data science internship at Bayer CropScience. His main duties will involve developing a robust metabolomics database as well as tools for automated searching and processing. He will also work on developing methods for batch processing data file conversions and generating streamlined workflows. His projects will involve the analysis, visualization, and processing of data, where he will take charge of troubleshooting errors and optimizing processes. King is looking forward to this opportunity to improve his skills in programming languages like SQL, Bash, Java, & Perl.
