Dr. Elaine Luo is an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and head of the Microbial Ecology Lab. Dr. Luo’s research aims to address how microbes impact marine ecology and carbon cycling.

Dr. Luo will be presenting a CMDI seminar at Georgia Tech on Friday 1/27 at 3pm. Her CDMI talk will be on viral diversity in the ocean.
