Research Areas:
Marian Dominguez-Mirazo has been part of the Weitz Group since 2018, when she interned as an undergrad senior visiting researcher. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Genomics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2019. The same year she joined Georgia Tech as a grad student in the QBioS PhD program. Marian is passionate about all-things virus, but mainly bacteriophages. Her research focuses on studying the interactions between phages and biofilm forming bacteria.
